Matthew 22 commands us to “love your neighbor as yourself". We want to stir students' hearts to serve Jesus in every capacity of their lives. This is why we create opportunities for students to serve their community from the earliest grades to senior year.
At the elementary level, second grade students participate in putting together shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. Fifth grade students collect supplies for a local women's shelter, Bridge of Hope.
Middle and High School Students | Day of Service
Middle and high school students participate in a Day of Service each spring, fanning out into the greater Harrisburg area to partner with local nonprofits and churches. The middle school club, M.I.T. (Men in Training), also meets for a weekly Bible study and does several annual service days. National Honor Society members are actively involved in the community and serve with various local organizations. High school students have further internship service opportunities during J-Term each January.
